Research and Development – Experience & Expertise

Research and Development – Experience & Expertise Hands-on experience on Synthesis and characterization of ion exchanged Na-Y zeolite based adsorbents and their characterization using Surface area and pore size analysis, X-ray Diffraction, Inductive Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectroscopy(ICP-AES), X-ray fluorescence, Adsorptive desulphurization studies using automated fixed-bed reactor, UV-fluorescence sulfur analyzer, GC-SCD etc. Worked on UV-Vis spectroscopy, Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy(AAS), Gas Chromatography for reactant and product analysis(for olefins, aromatics and sulfur compounds); GC/FID, GC/TID, GC/TCD and GC/ECD, RP-HPLC analysis of Natural compounds and other volatile organic compounds, CHNS-Analysis etc. Worked on optimizing the post harvest processing medicinal plants for developing standard drying condition for controlling the quality of medicinal plants which will be useful for drug development. Currently working on Pharmaceutical and Personal Care Product removal from waste water and Nutritional status of traditional food of Uttarakhand.
