Centre for Socio-Economic Development(CSED) of the Institute organized swachhata campaigns as part of the Swachhta Pakhwada programme along the banks of Kosi River with the support of faculties, researchers, local peoples and students from Koormanchal Academy, Kosi- Almora.

Centre for Land and Water Resource Management (CLWRM) of the Institute organized Swachhata Campaign Cleanliness drive at temple and water resource “Spring” near the Institute.

North-East Regional Center conducted a campaign and cleanliness drive in collaboration with the Department of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of Arunachal Pradesh at the Ganga Lake, Itanagar.

Himachal Regional Centre of the Institute organized a Swachhta Pledge and a mass awareness activity at Govt Senior Secondary School, Nagwain in Kullu.

A cleanness drive was organized at Sikkim Regional Centre on the occassion of Swachhata Pakhwada. The drive includes the cleaning of 2 ponds and spring.
