13. In-depth action and scientific research on NDBR area form the basis for developing priority options for resolving policy-people conflicts on one hand and sustainable management of bioresources on the other. The wide scientific coverage motivate UNESCO (Man & Biosphere Programme), Paris to document the outcome which was brought in the form of film 'Invocations to the Mountain Goddess'.
14. Capacity building of local people/farmers in the field of medicinal plants cultivation/conservation and natural resource management, while organizing regular farmers to farmer training programme has been very encouraging through which a total of 548 farmers/NGOs/GOs personnels) were trained.
15. Ecological, social and policy dimensions indicators of agrobiodiversity loss were studied in detail which form the basis for developing priority interventions for conservation and management of the traditional agrobiodiversity of the region.
16. Successful demonstration of hill specific potential rural technologies at four locations such as Maletha (Tehri Garhwal), Ginoti (Uttarkashi), Suraithota-Tolma (Chamoli) and Banswara (Rudraprayag).
17. Detailed documentation of indigenous knowledge related agronomic practices and uses of medicinal and aromatic plants, traditional drinks/wild edibles, soil fertility maintenance etc. have been carried out.
