Plantation Drive at Nanda Van Restoration Site, Baldhoti, Almora

A plantation drive was organised at the Nanda Van restoration site, Baldhoti, Almora, by GBPNIHE in collaboration with Nagar Nigam Almora to promote ecological restoration and environmental conservation. Shri Ajay Verma, Mayor, Nagar Nigam Almora, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Shri Manoj Tewari, MLA; Shri Raghunath Singh Chauhan, former MLA; Shri Prakash Joshi, former President, Nagar Palika Almora; Shri Bittu Karnatak; Nagar Nigam Councillors; and social workers also participated in the programme. The Director, scientists, Administrative Officer, administrative and finance staff, and research scholars of GBPNIHE actively participated in the plantation drive. The event highlighted the collective commitment of the Institute and the local community towards restoration of degraded landscapes, biodiversity conservation, and development of a greener and healthier Almora.
