On the occasion of the 11th Ayurveda Day 2026, an awareness workshop and medicinal plant plantation drive were organized at Government Inter College (GIC), Khunt, Almora, on the theme “Ayurveda for a Healthy Tomorrow,” with a key focus on “One Health, One Future.” The programme was organized by the Centre for Biodiversity Conservation and Management (CBCM), G.B. Pant National Himalayan Environment Institute (GBPIHE), Kosi-Katarmal, Almora, under the guidance of the Institute’s Director, Dr. I.D. Bhatt. The programme aimed to engage diverse stakeholders, including students and teachers, and raise awareness about Ayurveda, medicinal and aromatic plants, traditional knowledge, and the importance of conserving and sustainably utilizing biological resources for a healthy and sustainable future.
