EIACP Centre on Himalayan Ecology (GBPNIHE) organised a Green Skill Development Programme (GSDP) on Nature Conservator-cum-Ecotourism Guide

The Green Skill Development Programme (GSDP) on Nature Conservator-cum-Ecotourism Guide was organised by the EIACP Centre on Himalayan Ecology, GBPNIHE, Almora, for Scheduled Tribe (ST) category students from 1 September to 13 October 2026. The programme was conducted at various locations, including GBPNIHE, Almora; Corbett National Park, Ramnagar; Dharchula, Pithoragarh; and other areas of Uttarakhand. It focused on nature conservation, biodiversity assessment, wildlife and bird identification, and sustainable ecotourism through expert lectures, field visits, trekking, and hands-on training, promoting environmental awareness and sustainable livelihood opportunities in the Himalayan region.
