Govind Ballabh Pant 'National Institute of Himalayan Environment'(NIHE)

As part of Amrut Bharat Mahaotsava, Sikkim Regional Centre of the Institute organized a workshop on "Characterization and Preservation of Orchids - Sikkim Perspective" under its Nature Learning Centre Programme.

A plantation drive of indigenous Orchid species supported by the Botanical Survey of India was carried out along the Orchid trail being developed by the Institute under its Nature Learning Centre project supported by NMHS, MoEF&CC, Govt. of India.
