Annual Day Celebration at GBPNIHE

On 10 September 2026, GBPNIHE, Kosi-Katarmal, Almora celebrated its Annual Day on the occasion of the 139th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant. The programme featured the 32nd Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant Memorial Lecture delivered by Prof. Saroj K. Barik, Vice-Chancellor, NEHU, Shillong, on “Restoration of Degraded Ecosystems and Threatened Plants in the Himalaya: From Principles to Practice.” The event also included addresses by distinguished guests, felicitation, Best Performer Awards, release of Institute publications, and participation of eminent dignitaries from the Government of India and academic institutions.
